After 25 years of teaching at our main base in Cannes – Mandelieu (Alpes-Maritimes), the school has expanded and now also offers lessons from the Port of Saint-Raphaël (Var). Perfect for students coming from Saint-Tropez, Draguignan, Le Muy, Vidauban, Fréjus, etc., with easy on-site parking. Our school covers the entire area from Menton and Nice to Saint-Tropez.

The school is open from early March to October for courses in Kitesurfing, Wingfoiling, Tow Foiling, E-Foil, and Stand-Up Paddle.

Looking for a top Kitesurfing and Wingfoil school on the French Riviera?

AIRXKITE offers lessons in both Cannes and Saint-Raphaël.

Since 2001, AIRXKITE Kitesurfing School, based in Cannes–Mandelieu (Alpes-Maritimes), has been offering kitesurfing initiation through 3- or 5-day discovery courses, as well as advanced lessons.

Starting in 2025, AIRXKITE is launching a new location at the Saint-Raphaël Marina. Learn from Anil Garnier, a skilled and experienced rider across all disciplines.

The school is open from the beginning of March to October for Kitesurf, Wingfoil, EFoil and Stand-up Paddle courses.

For snowkiting (skiing and snowboarding), courses are possible from December to March.

We also offer Stand Up Paddle rental and lessons all year.

The objective of the work is centered on safety, the discovery of the activity and the practice sites so that you can then choose the appropriate equipment and "spots" according to your level and the weather conditions of the moment.
The learning technique at sea is done by downwind: the departures are in deep water. Thus the whole group drifts in the wind without any obstacle nearby.
The practice time spent sailing is maximum and the loss of time going upwind on foot on the beach is non-existent; it's the boat that brings you back.
The goal is to make you take maximum pleasure while eventually developing an independent practice of kitesurfing.
– Kite school since 2001.
– Top-of-the-range kite equipment (Eleveight, Naish, Core, Flysurfer, Ozone) renewed each year to progress with the latest developments in terms of technicality and safety.
– Teaching by individualized objectives facilitated by the simulation of small groups of 4 people maximum in lessons in the water and 1 to 2 accompanied outings. The first day ashore, the group can be larger for the initiation to traction.
– Learning in “open water” thanks to the semi-rigid boat.
– Accompaniment at the end of the course throughout your progress (outing accompanied by boat, technical advice by email or telephone after the courses).
– Offer of equipment at a lower cost adapted to your level thanks to the airxkite shop.
As sport evolves rapidly, the school renews its complete fleet of top-of-the-range equipment each year in order to offer you the best of technological developments.
The school has a recent semi-rigid NARWHAL of 6.75m with its 150 HP engine, its electric pump to inflate your wings, its VHF and its laptop.
The school is labeled EFK (Ecole Française de Kite) by the French Federation of Free Flight (FFVL) which promotes the sport in France. This quality label is awarded when the School respects strict specifications put in place to satisfy you.
Air X Kite has the structural approval number 01937 and is declared as a sports establishment at the Ministry of Youth and Sports. You can access the characteristics of the EFK label on: www.efk.fr.
The "Qualité Tourisme" label has also been awarded since 2018.
The main learning and practicing spot of the School is Cannes – Mandelieu. But we can sometimes move to other spots depending on the weather conditions, in particular Fréjus (Saint Aygulf), Hyères (l’Almanarre) or Les Salins de Giraud (Beauduc).
We are no longer waiting for the wind but we are going to look for it. You go out more frequently, progress faster and optimize your time.
